At our customer they design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced metrology machines, which enable our customers – the world’s leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. We aim to develop leading edge metrology systems, to be installed at the customer site, within specifications, on time, with quality exceeding the customer’s expectations. As a AIT Engineer, you will be Manufacturing, Assembling, Integrating and Testing our state-of the-art semiconductor metrology systems in the ISO 5 clean room and laboratories. You are responsible to solve potential problems that occur during the AIT phase. You also support the early projects phases in reviewing design documentation on AIT aspects and advising on optimization.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Acceptance, cleaning and registration of delivered subsystems and parts
- Prepare facilities and system for the integration of new subsystems and parts
- Assist in the preparation of assembly, installation and test procedures
- Assembly, installation and integration of subsystems
- Execute test and calibration procedures for (sub)systems
- Execute tests on subsystem and/or system level
- Document progress of assembly and test plans
- Troubleshoot on (sub)system in case of problems
- Solve and/or report problems during integration and testing
- Execute and/or implement solution for problems during integration and testing
Job Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Instrumentation or equivalent
- At least 3+ of experience in hands-on AIT activities on highly complex systems, like semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators. More junior? You’re more than welcome to apply
- Previous experience with semiconductor equipment manufacturing is a plus
- Experience in writing and reviewing AIT documentation
