We are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers who are eager to start a position in a hightech environment in the Netherlands. The departments Mechanical Development is designing, building and testing mechanical systems and sub-systems which are fitted into the end products. You will be developing complex modules by designing, creating and testing sub-systems within the restrictions imposed by system specifications, costs and planning considerations.
Tasks & Responsibilities

Take ownership for the detailed design
and qualification of complex systems -
Comply to precision mechanical design principles
and competence standards -
Establish supplier contact
for design and drawing reviews on manufacturability -
Define and execute qualification tests
verifying the system performance compared to the specifications -
Timely production of deliverables
with the project manager -
Understand impact of relevant norms/standards

Working in a multidisciplinary team
in an agile / scrum environment
Job Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience. More junior? You’re more than welcome to apply
- Experienced 3D CAD user (preferable UG/NX)
- Experience in design in a multidisciplinary environment
- Preferably: knowledge in analysis and simulation tools (FEM, stress, Simulink)
- Preferably: experience in leading design teams
Personal skills
- Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude
- Ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary setting
- Flexible and open mindset with good communication skills
- Good knowledge of English
