The Optical Manufacturing Technician position is within a fast-growing scale-up high-tech company. They design a high-performing metrology system. Your main mission in this role is to follow procedures in the assembly process of delicate optical mechanics and components. You are working on a measurement tool for the semiconductor industry. As an optical manufacturing technician you will be working in the ISO 5 cleanroom and laboratories with the following responsibilities:
- Assembling optical systems consisting of delicate components
- Follow assembly instructions and procedures
- Work precisely and accurately with the assembly of the fine mechanics
- Validation and executing testing of the system
- Creating reports and logs
- Troubleshooting of semifinished products and systems
- Hands-on in assembly process
- You enjoy working hands-on

What you bring:
- A background in Precision Engineering (experience or education)
- At least 5 years of relevant hands-on work experience in high-tech environments working on optical components, such as microscopes, metrology devices, lasers, etc.
- Experience in working on highly complex systems, such as semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators, medical/laboratory equipment, optomechanical systems, etc.
- A problem solving mindset and a pro-active attitude
- Fluency in the English language, both written and oral.
- You work precisely and have attention to detail
