The Architect is the technical leader responsible to drive technical design teams and makes appropriate tradeoffs and decisions in order to guarantee the deliverables meet product requirements.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the definition and deployment of the architecture from design, implementation, test and integration to maintenance of software
- Translates the roadmap for the scope into a work breakdown to prepare for execution
- Defines requirements related to scope by modelling, technical budgeting and balancing across requirements and risks
- Takes technical leadership of the integration for related scope
- You cooperate closely with colleagues from other disciplines and strategic customers
- You work with a code base of C, C++, Python or C#
Job Requirements
Experience
- Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- At least 10+ year of experience in a technically oriented role
- Preferably experience as an architect or leading position
- You are used to coaching and leading (software) teams
- Experience in independently defining an architecture
- Experience in Agile software development
- Model Driven Design
- Real time control software, RTOS / Linux
- Knowledge of Design Patterns
- Broad knowledge of C / C++ / C# / Python
