Senior HVAC Engineer
For our client, we are looking for a Senior HVAC Engineer to work on complex and diverse projects within the commercial building and industrial sectors. You will be technically responsible for designing and optimising HVAC systems, from the initial client contact through to the execution phase.
The role of the installation contractor is constantly evolving. Increasingly, you will be involved at an early stage of the design process, contributing practical expertise that is essential for successful project delivery. This requires not only strong technical knowledge, but also multidisciplinary insight and experience in managing the growing complexity of building services installations. Sustainability is no longer optional; increasingly stringent government regulations continue to raise the standards for our engineering solutions.
What you'll do
- –Independently design, size and optimise HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings
- –Prepare technical specifications, select appropriate components and ensure compliance with quality standards
- –Lead and mentor BIM modellers and junior engineers within your project team
- –Collaborate with project managers, work planners and other engineers in multidisciplinary project teams
- –Advise clients and stakeholders on energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions, balancing practical feasibility with evolving legislation and regulatory requirements

What you bring
- –A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- –At least 5 years of experience as an HVAC Engineer on multidisciplinary commercial or industrial projects, with extensive knowledge of building services engineering and energy-efficient installations
- –Experience with design and calculation software such as VABI and Revit
- –A proactive, independent working style with strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
