Refrigeration Service Technician
For a technically innovative organisation, we are looking for an independent Refrigeration Service Technician who is responsible for maintaining, repairing and optimising refrigeration systems within the retail, hospitality and utility sectors.
As a service technician, you are the face of the company at the client. You work independently from home and visit various locations within your region. You get plenty of freedom and responsibility to solve technical challenges and provide clients with reliable refrigeration solutions.
What you'll do
- –Perform maintenance on refrigeration installations
- –Analyse and resolve faults in cooling and climate systems
- –Carry out repairs and technical inspections
- –Independently diagnose technical problems and determine the right solutions
- –Check installations for performance, safety and reliability
- –Report completed work through digital systems
- –Advise clients on technical improvements and maintenance
Which installations will you work on?
You will work on a wide range of refrigeration systems, including:
- –Cooling and freezing installations
- –Refrigerated display cases and commercial refrigeration
- –Climate control installations
- –Modern energy-efficient cooling solutions, including CO₂ installations
What you bring
- –A completed technical qualification in refrigeration, cooling technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- –Experience as a refrigeration or service technician
- –Knowledge of refrigeration installations and fault diagnosis
- –A category B driving licence
